KID CHILL SKILLS
Are you a caregiver with a child ages 3-7? Then I know you know.
The emotions. The MELTDOWNS. The upset about… what is it now?!
It’s hard. I am a licensed counselor and still find helping my kids with their emotions SO challenging! The emotions are frequent, intense and last longer than I’d prefer.
A kid’s therapist will be joining me to facilitate this event as we practice “chill skills” together as a group.
No parent has it all “figured out,” so let’s come together and find ways to support ourselves, while we support our kids.
What to Expect
Kids need support in learning ways to cope with their frustration, upset and worry. We can help in the moment by grounding ourselves, kids meltdowns are activating!
Outside of the moment we can coach them through skills, which we will practice together.

I’m a mom and even as a therapist, I have found it SO hard to help my kids with ALL of the emotions. I want to help caregivers feel less alone, more confident and dispel any myth that any parent has it “figured out.”
Let’s learn and grow together!
